PEPSI visits and says, "Congratulations."

Pepsi Representatives and Sounders midfielder Mike Seamon visited with students encouraging them to stay active in the community and give back. Each member of the Brouillet community received a T-shirt from Pepsi and had an opportunity to say "Thank You!" to Pepsi!

April 23rd PAWS Assembly

At Brouillet, recognized outstanding students who demonstrated "Lifting the Weight" and overcoming hard things in their lives and school at our all school PAWS assembly. When we face hardships, they can make us stronger if we "lift them" and don't give up. It is a part of the skills training Why Try? program that we adopted this year. Parents, family, friends and staff gave certificates to the students who showed this kind of character.

Playground Grant VOTE by PEPSI

Vote TODAY and EVERYDAY for the Pepsi Playground Grant!
Overview

The Brouillet Community Playground Project was started in the Summer of 2008 when it occurred to the community that the current playground was becoming unsafe, as well as having no activities for kids of pre-k age or children with special needs. This is especially important because this playground is used as our community park after school, on weekends, and during the Summer months as this is the only playground close enough for the kids in our neighborhoods to walk to. The Community petitioned the school district for space big enough for the new playground and this was accomplished although the community led by the Brouillet PTA would have to move over 200 feet of fence and raise all funds needed for the new playground. After almost two years of working towards our goal, we have moved the fence and have also raised $25,000.00 of the $75,000.00 needed for this project.
