Artists in Rm 23

Ms. Glen’s class recently made a visit to the South Hill Library. They were invited to view their artwork displayed there. This collection was created while doing a month long unit on master artists. The kids drew inspiration from Van Gogh, O’Keefe, Pollock, Braque and Picasso. If you haven’t had a chance to see it yet, it will be in the Children’s section of the library through mid November. If you have a chance check it out!

At Brouillet our WatchDOGS (Dads of Great Students) is off to another successful year. Under the leadership of our Top DOG, Brian Ragsdale, and his Dog Squad we have added new dads to the crew and their presence here is appreciated. For more info go to the PTA website for WatchDOGS. Dads, Uncles, Grandpas, and Big Brothers walk the halls, help with projects (see Readerboard Pict w/ Mr. Jones - Nicholas' Dad), work in classrooms, and help play with kids at recess.
